About

I am passionate about telling smart, empathetic, impactful stories through art, design, and movement.
“When your eyes are graced with wonder, the world reveals its wonders to us. There are people who only see dullness in the world and that is because their eyes have already been dulled. So much depends on how we look at things. The quality of our looking determines what we come to see.”
– John O’Donohue

Filmmaking

In creating Jennifer strives explore intimate aspects of human nature through adventure, art, and expression.

Both Jennifer’s parents immigrated to the US from Bucharest Romania after escaping a dictatorship under Ceausecu’s reign. Born as a first generation American, Jennifer grew up in Weston Connecticut and later moved to the West Coast. She currently lives in Los Angeles California.

She graduated from Central Film School London in 2013. Her end of the year directorial student film project premiered at BAFTA later that year. Jennifer pursued her filmmaking career shortlists after that, living in London for 3 years where she started out as a freelance filmmaker working with animation and live action.

Since then Jennifer has moved back to Los Angeles, California and has worked with different companies with focuses on topics ranging from health and wellness, to education, technology, psychology, and more. She’s worked with companies and individual clients to make their scripts and projects come to life through motion picture, making over 30 short animations, music videos, and shorts.

Creating original, personal, relevant, and significant content is a challenge she believes is worth revisiting over and over again. Jennifer strives to create content that inspires, educates, and helps to further connect different people from across the world. She believes in real tools that we can create, use, and share towards better states of personal and cultural well-being and peace. Great stories have the power of spanning time and geography, and hold an even greater capability of connecting us.

Jennifer believes that fiction is often armed with underlying authenticity and core concepts that reflect back the reality of the world around us as well as the world within ourselves. It asks us for more. Encouraging questions and new discoveries. What kind of world do we want to create? What can we contribute?

Exploring deeper aspects of human nature through different forms of storytelling is a way to continue exploring these concepts, adventures, and discoveries.

What I'm All About

When you’re in the position of being a creative and making things from scratch that, in my opinion, means you have a great responsibility to add value to others and the world around you, if at all possible. Anything less than that, to me, only adds to the chaos…which is something that’s very easy to do. Taking the time to consider all avenues wisely before creating and contributing to a world of one-clicks, instagramming, and low attention spans is a difficult lesser road traveled, but one that I try to walk every single day.
Creating original, personal, relevant, and significant content is something I find to be both a magnificent blessing and huge responsibility. I strive to create content that inspires, educates, and helps to further connect different people from across the world. So we can all learn to empathize more with one another, realize that our differences are not something to be used against one another, the darkness within us is not something to be feared or avoided but to work through, our past experiences only define us to the extent that we allow them to, and there are real tools we can share and use towards better states of personal and cultural well-being and peace.
Fiction can be armed with a very authentic way of cutting through to the center of a legitimate reality that represents both the world around us and the world within ourselves. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with some of these difficult questions. Who are you? What do you believe in? What is your purpose? How will you choose to spend your short time on earth?
For me, it’s about being open to the experiences life has to offer, listening to the lessons, learning more about myself, helping others as much as I am able, exploring topics and themes I am passionate about, and honing my unique expression of those concepts through my craft.
This is a little bit of what I’m all about .
