About

Storyteller, observer, avid reader, adventure seeker, dancer, friend, support system, researcher, director, cat mom, daughter, writer, sister, empath, introvert, creative. All parts of myself encompass my storytelling. I am passionate about telling smart, empathetic, impactful stories through art, design, and movement. One of my favorite quotes from John O’Donohue encompasses what I strive to achieve with my creative process:

“When your eyes are graced with wonder, the world reveals its wonders to us. There are people who only see dullness in the world and that is because their eyes have already been dulled. So much depends on how we look at things. The quality of our looking determines what we come to see.”
– John O’Donohue

What I'm All About

When you’re in the position of being a creative and making things from scratch that, in my opinion, means you have a great responsibility to add value to others and the world around you, if at all possible. Anything less than that, to me, only adds to the chaos…which is something that’s very easy to do. Taking the time to consider all avenues wisely before creating and contributing to a world of one-clicks, instagramming, and low attention spans is a difficult lesser road traveled, but one that I try to walk every single day.

Creating original, personal, relevant, and significant content is something I find to be both a magnificent blessing and huge responsibility. I strive to create content that inspires, educates, and helps to further connect different people from across the world. So we can all learn to empathize more with one another, realize that our differences are not something to be used against one another, the darkness within us is not something to be feared or avoided but to work through, our past experiences only define us to the extent that we allow them to, and there are real tools we can share and use towards better states of personal and cultural well-being and peace.

Fiction can be armed with a very authentic way of cutting through to the center of a legitimate reality that represents both the world around us and the world within ourselves. One of my favorite things to do is spend time with some of these difficult questions. Who are you? What do you believe in? What is your purpose? How will you choose to spend your short time on earth?

For me, it’s about being open to the experiences life has to offer, listening to the lessons, learning more about myself, helping others as much as I am able, exploring topics and themes I am passionate about, and honing my unique expression of those concepts through my craft.

This is a little bit of what I’m all about .
